Reading- Unit 2 - "Journeys"
We have had many interesting conversations about vocabulary and use of language within the novel, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. We will continue to dig into chapters 6-10 of the novel during the week of 3/4.  In addition, we have been doing some open ended or extended response questions for more practice in writing, while reading the story.  Ask your child what R.A.C.E.R. stands for and how they are using it when answering extended response questions.

Spelling:
We will be learning about adjectives and how they describe nouns.  We will be talking about how adjectives can really enhance our writing and make it more descriptive and visual.
Our test will be Friday, March 8.
