Chromebooks will be collected on Thursday. May 31st. Please remind your child to bring in their Chromebook along with their charger.

Wednesday, May 30- Celebration of the West-Luau (ideas for this day--- bring beach towel to sit on, wear a lei, girls-flower dress, skirt, shirt, boys-bathing suit and t-shirt, Hawaiian shirts, etc.)
Friday, June 1 - Field Day
Monday, June 4- Last Day of School Early Dismissal, 11:35
Reading: We will finish the book, Love That Dog and will have our final test.
English: We will continue to work on our own poems in our Poetry Book. Ask your child to share what they have written so far.
Social Studies: We will complete our study of the West. There will be an open book TEST on Wednesday for chapter 12. Then we will conclude our afternoon with a luau on Wednesday at 1:15. Snacks for this day can include Hawaiian bread, Hawaiian punch and pineapple.
*Bonus points (social studies) will be awarded for any items brought in to share that represents the western region.

Mrs. Spakausky's and Mrs. K's Math Class: We will continue Unit 7 Reviewing and Extending Fractions, Decimals and Multi Digit Addition. There will be a checkpoint quiz this week over Module One. The quiz will cover comparing and ordering fractions, common denominators and finding equivalent fractions.
THANK YOU: It's hard to believe the school year is over. The time has flown by. I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful year! I have enjoyed teaching your children very much. We learned a lot this year and have many good memories.
