We will continue to apply our essential questions on challenges to the next piece of text.  This piece of text comes from a chapter in our Touching Spirit Bear novels.  We will do a close read and focus on some vocabulary only from Ch. 6.

Social Studies: Chapter 5-The Struggle to Found Colonies

Lesson 1-1607-Jamestown-The first permanent English colony is started in North America.

Lesson 2-1609-Hudson River-Henry Hudson explores for the Dutch.

Lesson 3-1620-Plymouth-The Pilgrims arrive on the Mayflower.
