ELA-Reading: Challenges
We have started our technology project on Sitting Bull.   The students will be "digging deeper" on this Native American.
They have chosen 3-4 subcategories to research.
The students should be reading about the topics they chose.
They should be taking notes on each subtopic this weekend.
They will need to give a brief 2-3 sentence description of the event.
The students should relate this event to challenges and give another 2-3 sentence description about challenges faced during this even.

Our essential questions for this unit-1)  How can challenges affect yourself and those around you?
2)  How do characters, real or fiction, respond to challenges in positive and negative ways?
3)  How are challenges conquered in literature and informational text?
