We have been comparing and contrasting using the "top hat" organizer.  We modeled how to do this with crocodiles and alligators.  The students will practice this skill using the Earth and Mars as their topic, tonight.  After we learn this skill, we will apply it to our Challenge Unit in reading and do some compare and contrast work with Jackie Robinson and Langston Hughes.
